Clearly MosaicsTM pieces can be used on many surfaces ie; wood, glass, plastic, tin, or cardboard. Standard household white glue can be used to adhere the mosaics pieces to the chosen surface. If you are planning to create an outdoor design it would be best to use silicone glue (item 1808H003) which will make the surface waterproof to outdoor weather conditions.
Since most of our mosaics have translucence to them you can place them in a window for sunlight to capture the beautiful colors.
Our grout technique is very simple and user friendly. Directions are on the grout packages with illustrations to guide you through the process (items 1809H003, 1810H003, 1816H003 and1817H003). If you are planning a design that will be placed outdoors you will need to seal the grout with a grout sealer which can be purchased at your local hardware store. Depending on your design and desired effect you can skip the grout.
All of our mosaic shapes can be trimmed with wire cutters.
